Tech Diving Thailand is a great place to learn Technical Diving. I went from Tec 40 to Tech Instructor.. They offer many other courses like cave diving, equipment repair, gas blending, sidemount, rebreather and many more. Instructor trainer David Polley is very experienced and has a lot of diving knowledge that he happily shares. If your on Koh Tao don't bother Tech diving anywhere else, do it all at Tech Diving Thailand.

I did Tech 40, 45, 50 cavern and intro cave with Dave Polley last year. Dave is a fantastic teacher, very professional and knowledgeable and trains with a relaxed and enthusiastic approach. It was a great experience pushing my diving into new areas, tech training also improved my recreational diving (trim, air consumption and planning) The cave and cavern trip too Khal Sok and Song Hong lakes was a definite highlight of my time in Thailand. Will be returning tooTech Diving Thailand and Dave for Sidemount in the near future.

I have done several technical diving courses with Tech Diving Thailand and I have to say the level of expertise of their instructors is unmatched in any other Tech School I have been with. I completed PADI RecTech to Tech 50 and TDI extended range, cavern, intro and full cave diver. I particularly enjoyed the cave courses, conducted at Khao Sok national park and Song Hong, a crystal clear sinkhole, with near limitless depth potential! If you are learning to tech dive do not trust your life to any other school Tech Diving Thailand are the best.

I did my Open Water with Dave when I was 54. I’m not a brilliant swimmer and I didn’t like having my face in the water let alone underwater so it was very challenging for me. However Dave proved to be a brilliant teacher and taught me the skills I needed. I’m his Mum so of course you’d expect me to be biased but actually I had no idea of his teaching ability. I also thought he might be a bit impatient with me but not at all. He was so professional. Being underwater was a fabulous experience. 

I did my TDI Sidemount, PADI tec40, TDI Advanced Trimix to Full cave diver with Dave. they were great fun. We went on a great cave trip up to Khao sok national park - which was beautiful we stayed on floating huts and had interesting food most nights. We also went to Song Hong sink hole which was incredible. The cave was huge and dark it was like diving through space. Learning technical diving is very demanding, but hugely rewarding experience

Cave Diving with Tech Diving Thailand was awesome! I took the TDI Cavern and Intro to Cave courses in Khao Sok National Park. The food was great - a variety of Thai cuisine - the accommodation was simple and beautiful - floating bungalows - and the people were professional, safety oriented, standard conforming and super fun. Highly recommended!

I did everything up to trimix rebreather and Full Cave with Tech Diving Thailand. The environment is extremely professional and Dave is an excellent instructor. Courses are paired with expeditions to makes sure that it is not only a certification you are receiving when you do a course, but also the experience. I have looked at other tec schools and thailand and was disappointed with how short the courses take. At Tech Diving Thailand tec, once you have completed the course, you are welcome to continue diving with them to build up experience, which is much more valuable than a certification card. I am sure to come back to Tech Diving Thailand tech to one day to my tec instructor.

I did my TDI Trimix course with David Polley on Koh Tao in 2012. Being a PADI instructor and a TDI Full Cave Diver before, I can really say that this course put me and my diving skills on a new level. Not only the knowledge about and usage of different breathing gases, but also all the other technical diving techniques that are part of this course. Since we went on a wreck diving expedition after the course, Dave conducted the course very thoughtfully, providing lots of tipps and tricks based on his year long experience and made sure that me and my equipment would be perfectly prepared for the expedition. Great job, Dave, thanks a lot!

Great tec course with great instructors Dave and Tom. I also did the course with a friend I've been diving with for a few years and so felt very comfortable getting used to all the new skills and techniques with a very fun and motivated group! I eventually planned and completed my own dive, dived a brand new wreck and even got to spend a decompression stop with a Whale Shark! cannot wait to go onto my Tec 45!!!
