Tech Diving Thailand is a great place to learn Technical Diving. I went from Tec 40 to Tech Instructor.. They offer many other courses like cave diving, equipment repair, gas blending, sidemount, rebreather and many more. Instructor trainer David Polley is very experienced and has a lot of diving knowledge that he happily shares. If your on Koh Tao don't bother Tech diving anywhere else, do it all at Tech Diving Thailand

I Just finished my TDI Cavern, Intro to Cave and Advanced Trimix with Tech Diving Thailand​ and the courses were great fun as well as challenging. We went to mainland Thailand and started with really shallow dives in a place called Spitting Spider Cave. Thankfully, the spider was off duty when we were there! From there we gradually moved beyond cavern dives and on to greater depths. As the dives got a little more complicated, my cave diving skills improved step by step and it all started feeling quite comfortable. Dave is a great instructor - he won't let you cut corners, but at the same time you're ready for the challenges coming your way. Everything was organised professionally, the hire equipment was good, too -can't wait to go back and complete my Full Cave course!

I did my TDI Sidemount, PADI Tec 40, and TDI Advanced Trimix to Full cave diver with dave. they were great fun. We went on a great cave trip up to Khao Sok National Park—which was beautiful we stayed on floating huts and had interesting food most nights. We also went to Song Hong sink hole which was incredible. The cave was huge and dark it was like diving through space. Learning technical diving is very demanding, but hugely rewarding experience

Just today I did a CCR try dive on the Poseidon MK VI with Dave. In the morning we did some theory, we then spend time setting all the gear up and getting to know the equipment. I got a short try in the pool and then the real deal: a dive in the sea! It was great to get to know this cool (new to me) way of diving in just one day, and I was really inspired to learn more about CCR in the future. Thanks for the interesting and cool day Dave!!

So I recently did my PADI Tec 40 & Tec 45 with Dave from Tech Diving Thailand, I have to be honest I was a little apprehensive going simply because I really didn't know what to expect. However when I met Dave for the first I realised that it was going to be a good course. Daves knowledge is extensive but what struck me most was his passion & enthusiasm for this particular area of diving, throughout the theory sessions we would often digress into the background behind the theory and to watching videos of his many exploits diving on historical wrecks. The practical part of the course was not easy but this was a plus point, there was no coasting along through the skills, Dave made the emergency drills as realistic as possible but also ensured that my understanding of the skills was up to scratch. There was no real section of the course that I preferred as I found it all challenging and therefore enjoyable.



An excellent instructor with a wealth of knowledge and also some interesting local dive sites.
