This program teaches you the skills needed to dive with an underwater camera, and provides the in-depth knowledge and experience required to properly use, maintain and store your equipment. Our goal is help you capture your amazing underwater experiences. You will earn the ProTec Photo Specialty certification.

The Photo course is to learn how to capture, with your underwater camera, the breathtaking scenes of the wild beneath the ocean.

But having an underwater camera does not make you an underwater photographer or videographer. You can take thousands of snapshots or video movies and have the video very shaky and most of the pictures blurred.

With the ProTec Photo course, very quickly, you will be able to get stunning photos like the ones on this/our website and amazing video clips.

Why do you need to take the Photo course?

It is common to everyone to have a camera and the love of taking perfect videos as well as good photos. With the ProTec Photo course, you will train in taking better pictures, with proper lighting and angle.

This scuba diving course teaches you the skills required to dive with an underwater camera, to be stable underwater, and provides the knowledge to properly use, maintain and store your camera, strobe and other video equipment.

The scuba diving gear in the ProTec Photo course includes:

Housing for your camera, camera, strobe or flash, standard scuba diving gear, mask and snorkel, BCD (buoyancy compensator device), wetsuit/exposure suit, fins.

Our scuba Instructor may suggest more options regarding the equipment needed for this course.

At Tech Diving Thailand's dive centre the full diving gear is included with all scuba diving courses. You do not have to worry about an added fee; this scuba diving course is all-inclusive with full diving gear.
As well as towels, shower, lockers, drinking water, and five-star service like aProTecstance to carry your gear to the beach, boat or pier as well as aProTecstance to clean it (you are on holiday/vacation, you do not have to work).

So is a general price list, but on contacting us to book a course and letting us know, whereabouts you would like to conduct the courses, we can send you a more accurate price for the courses you wish to conduct! But these are all the accurate prices for diving courses in Koh Tao.

As our courses get booked up quickly to secure your place on a course on a certain date, just contact us and send a 10% deposit on the course at a specific date and pay the rest on arrival. The deposit can be sent to our International Bank - "WISE" in any currency. After a 10% deposit is received your course and instructor will be booked for a specific date. The Tech Diving Thailands Recreational and Technical Diving Department provides an extensive range of recreational diving courses from open water courses, to discover open water courses, Advanced Open Water through to dive master and Open Water diving instructor. The Tech Department has an extensive range of specialist technical diving courses from nitrox through to advanced trimix and encompassing all agencies to suit every style. Our instructors can teach with our preferred agencies: NAUI, ProTec or other booking can be made with other RAID, SSI, SDI, GUE, BSAC, TDI, PADI and PADI TecRec Instructors around Koh Tao or Thailand. Tech Diving Thailand Technical Diving Department also offers a range of cave schedules but if you have specific dates and times we can start a new class to fit your schedule. At Tech Diving Thailand, we base our technical diver training around expedition diving. The Technical Diving Department regularly run technical wreck diving and cave diving expeditions in Thailand and South East Asia.

David Polley leads the technical training courses, running ProTec & NAUI Tech trimix and cave courses; placing great emphasis on training through building real dive experience and technical diving courses typically finish with dives on one of the deep Gulf of Thailand Wreck Trips or at Khao Sok National Park.

We also offer technical instructor training and technical speciality packages. We have great rates on accommodation in our on-site hotel, beach bungalows and Hilltop villas, all have a pool to relax in after a hard day of tech diving. Helium use. We charge 2.8thb per litre on TRIMIX courses.

On Rebreather (CCR) we include 8 kg of scrubber for scrubber in our prices. The rest of the scrubber is charged at 500thb per kilo.

ProTec Advanced Trimix

Do you want to discover the depths lower than 60 meters or even be able to dive any depth within the partial pressure limits?

The intention of ProTec Advanced Trimix certification course is to reach extreme deep dives (concerns sport dive range) with professional training and equipment. Two different inhalation gases will at least be used in each dive. As a result, you should be able to dive any depth within the partial pressure limits. The Trimix mixture as a basic breathing gas and EANx for decompression and as a “Travel mix”.

After completing this program, you will be qualified as an elite diver and you will be able to experience deeper and more extreme dives.

Advanced diving skills also in depths of 50-60 meters (about 25 dives have to be logged), which have to be proven to the instructor
